Fiberly and Apple Health: Sync Dietary Fiber

Quick answer

Turn on Apple Health in Fiberly’s Settings and the fiber you log is saved to the Health app as dietary fiber. Edits and deletes in Fiberly stay in sync.

Fiberly can also read the dietary fiber that other apps saved to Health today, so you can see it alongside your own log. Apple Health sync is free.

How to turn it on

  • Open Fiberly and go to Settings.
  • Turn on Apple Health in the Data section.
  • Allow Fiberly to write dietary fiber when iOS asks.
  • Log a food and check the Dietary Fiber category in the Health app.

What is shared

Fiberly writes one dietary fiber sample for each food you log, using the grams shown in your entry. It only asks for the access it needs, and you can change or remove that access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.

Why connect Fiberly to Health

Health keeps your nutrition history in one place across the apps you use. Fiberly stays focused on making fiber quick to log and easy to understand, and Health holds the long-term record.

Common questions

Is Apple Health sync free?

Yes. Apple Health sync is included for every Fiberly user.

What happens if I delete a food in Fiberly?

The matching dietary fiber sample is removed from Apple Health too, so both stay in sync.

Does Fiberly upload my Health data?

No. Health data stays on your device and in Apple’s Health app. Fiberly does not send it to its own servers.
